The Land Solutions Company team is passionate about creating comfortable, exciting, and innovative residential and commercial developments in Middle Tennessee. We are collaborative partners and leaders every step of the way - connecting engineers, builders, and investors to deliver solutions that meet and exceed expectations.

From initial planning to engineering, building, development, and final completion of the project, we ensure that our clients are comfortable and involved throughout the process.   • Kevin Estes

    Chief Executive Officer

    Kevin attended Tennessee Technological University where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.  After graduation, Kevin spent 17 years as a Civil Engineer and Partner at Dale and Associates involved in all aspects of Civil projects including zoning, design and management of residential, industrial, and commercial projects in Middle Tennessee. Having a desire to go beyond design and approval of projects, Kevin Joined Green Trails LLC. Since 2010, Green Trails has successfully delivered over 700 lots to builders such as Goodall Homes, Beazer homes and NVR. In 2015 Kevin and Lynn Ealey formed Land Solutions taking their combined experiences to the next level. In addition to being licensed civil engineer in the State of Tennessee, Kevin enjoys working with classrooms in underserved neighborhoods and enjoying family, travel, and music during his time off.

  • Lynn Ealey

    Chief Operating Officer

    Lynn, a Nashville native, has worked in the land development field since his teens. Years of hands-on experience in the field with his family's property investment company led Lynn to attend Tennessee Technical University. His post-collegiate career pursuits led him to a Nashville engineering firm where he specialized in commercial and suburban residential design. He continued his career managing all aspects of community development for Pulte Homes’ Nashville office, including the development of Nashville's fastest growing community, Del Webb at Lake Providence, among many others. Having gained unique skill sets for both design and development management through years of experience, Lynn partnered to form the full service development company that is Land Solutions Company. Lynn is licensed as a Professional Engineer in Tennessee, Kentucky, Georgia, Alabama, and Florida. Lynn is a Licensed Industrial/Commercial/Residential General Contractor, LEED Accredited Professional, and a board member of Cumberland Region Tomorrow among other associations.

  • Jennifer Speich

    Director of Engineering

    Jennifer attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville where she obtained a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.  After graduation, she spent 2 years working as an estimator at Rogers Group before joining Barge, Waggoner, Sumner and Cannon in 2002.  During her 13 years at BWSC, she was involved in land development projects in both the public and private sector, including property rezoning, residential subdivisions, residential and commercial infill, industrial, mixed use, commercial, park and recreation design, and utility design and coordination. Some recent projects of note that Jennifer has been involved with include the expansion of the Mall at Green Hills, Capitol View, Bridgestone Headquarters, 505 Church Street Tower, and The Music City Center. In addition to being licensed civil engineer in the State of Tennessee, Jennifer is Project Management Professional (PMP) and LEED Accredited Professional.  Jennifer is a past chapter president of the Tennessee Society of Professional Engineers (TSPE) Nashville chapter.  She currently serves as the Nashville Director for the TSPE state board.
  • Thomas Steffen

    Director of Land Development

    Thomas has a long pedigree in land development and design with experience in all facets of the industry.  Beginning with studies at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture with a concentration in Business Management.  After graduation, he attended North Carolina State University and received a Master’s of Landscape Architecture degree and has been a Licensed Landscape Architect for over 10 years.  His career started as a land planner for a local multi-disciplinary design/engineering firm in Charlotte, NC with projects that included developments in both the public and private sector, entailing property rezoning, master planning residential and commercial developments, park and recreation design as well as campus planning. Seeking to learn more facets of real estate development, he spent nearly 10 years with national homebuilders including Ryland Homes (Cal-Atlantic), D R Horton and Meritage Homes. His responsibilities included managing all aspects of community development from acquisition to land development for over 50 communities and delivering in excess of 2,500 single family lots.  Thomas enjoys the entire process of developing land from identifying opportunities to the completion of the project.  In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf, running and coaching his son in youth soccer, swimming and triathlon training.
